Gojee asset management refers to fixed assets. Fixed assets in your Xero file will be automatically synced across to Gojee when you connect. If you’d like to add new assets not found on your Xero fixed asset register directly into Gojee, you can also do this.
Assets in Gojee are somewhere between inventory items and professions. Assets can be used on jobs and included in your quotes, invoices, and job costings etc. Much like professions, the price, cost, and unit of measure are estimations based on the asset type added to the BOM – instances are not added directly. Instead, when recording the costs of the asset onto the job via Record Consumables, the instance and its specified costs etc. will be recorded at that time to give finer control and records over what is being used where.
If you need more from your assets, Gojee also includes an Asset Management add-on that enables greater control over assets and the creation of service jobs to maintain those assets.
